You are not called to fail. You are not called to make excuses. You are not called to be “less than.” You are not called to be fat, or skinny, or unhealthy.
You are more. You are called to be the best you can be so that you can better serve the Lord. He wants the best for you, he only asks that you love Him, first. And if you are using food as a crutch, or putting more faith in food’s ability to make you feel better, you are not loving the Lord first, you are loving food first. Kind of puts it in a new perspective, huh?
Be glorious. Be confident. You are worth being the best you you can be. It’s not about they way you look, it’s about not abusing your body with unhealthy foods and living in pain every day because you are too big to move around, or so thin you are too fragile.
You are a child of God. Your words may tell the world that you love Jesus, but your self doesn’t. It’s time to represent Him.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.
Ephesians 1:18 NLT
